In the region ' s administration, a regular meeting of the Regional Organizing Committee of the " Nobody forgets " project was chaired by the Governor of Alexei Ostrovsky.
We recall that the regional committee of the " Nobody forgets " project started its work in 2013 in anticipation of preparations for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, at the initiative of the administration of the region and the Dolg Regional Public Organization. The project brought together the various public, political parties and clergy to develop the patriotic movement in the Smole region.
The first issue of the agenda was the discussion of the outcome of the " Bessmer regime " , which has been held in our region for the fourth time. During this time, the number of participants in Smolenska increased from 7 to 25,000. In the Smole region, more than 80,000 moles have joined the Bessmert regiment this year.
Denis Pestunov, the head of the Russian-wide Bessmert regiment, thanked the Governor of Alexei Ostrovsky for his support, stressing that, in the years of movement in the region, an effective mechanism for the interaction of coordinators, authorities, youth, the media, the public and the security forces had been established.
♪ This year, as in the past, the administration of the Smole region has provided considerable assistance. In addition to organizational support, funds have been allocated for the production of information materials and forms for volunteers; Denise Pestun noted.
Also in conjunction with the Department of Field Support, activists organized the Bessmert regiments in the district and regional libraries, where assistance in the manufacture of transparents and stock information could be sought.
It was particularly noted that, this year, smullen schoolchildren and students became not only active participants in the Bessmer Roll, but also volunteers. For the first time, as part of the stock, all volunteers of schools with more than 300 volunteers have been merged under general supervision.
